LAM is a professional magic and performance arts school founded in 2016 by renowned magician Uncle Black Jack. The school focuses on developing confident, skilled, and professional performers through structured training, mentorship, and creative arts education.
LAM is open to everyone aged 5 to 50+ years. Whether you are a child, youth, or adult looking to learn magic, performance skills, or creative arts, LAM offers age-appropriate programs for all levels.
Students learn a wide range of skills including magic (cards, coins, rope, and impromptu magic), face and body painting, juggling, mime, clowning, puppet shows, stilts walking, and balloon sculpting, along with confidence and communication skills.
LAM is based in Johannesburg South, Alberton. Classes take place twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 15:30 to 18:00, with each session lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes and focused on practical learning.
Yes. LAM offers both free and paid online courses through its learning platform. Registered students receive full access to the online course catalog, while non-members may purchase individual courses.
The R1,500 registration fee includes a magician folding table, a starter magic box, and the official LAM uniform. After registration, students pay R650 per month, which covers access to all live classes and online learning sessions.
