Learn the Art of Magic (LAM)

By registering, enrolling, teaching, purchasing, or using any service provided by Learn the Art of Magic (LAM), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to students, parents/guardians, teachers, sellers, and platform users.
1. Registration & Enrollment
1.1 All students must complete the official registration process before attending classes or accessing paid services.
1.2 A once-off registration fee of R1,500 is required. This fee includes a magician folding table, a starter magic box, and the official LAM uniform.
1.3 Registration fees are non-refundable.
1.4 Monthly fees of R650 must be paid on time to maintain active student status.
2. Fees, Payments & Access
2.1 Monthly fees grant access to live classes and online learning during the active payment period.
2.2 Failure to pay monthly fees may result in:
Suspension of classes
Removal from live sessions
Restricted access to online courses
2.3 LAM reserves the right to adjust fees with reasonable notice.
3. Attendance & Cancellation
3.1 Regular attendance is encouraged to ensure student progress.
3.2 If a student chooses to cancel their membership:
Access to live classes will stop
Access to online courses will be revoked
No refunds will be issued for unused time
3.3 LAM may terminate enrollment if policies are repeatedly violated.
4. Online Learning Platform
4.1 Registered students receive access to LAM’s online course catalog during their active membership.
4.2 Courses may not be shared, copied, resold, or distributed without written permission.
4.3 Account sharing is strictly prohibited.
5. Curriculum, Grades & Certification
5.1 LAM offers a structured curriculum divided into 6 grades.
5.2 Each grade lasts 9 months and includes assessments, competitions, and practical evaluations.
5.3 Certificates are issued upon successful completion of each grade.
5.4 Advancement is based on skill, participation, and mentor evaluation.
6. Student Conduct & Discipline
6.1 Students must behave respectfully toward teachers, staff, and fellow students.
6.2 Bullying, discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
6.3 LAM reserves the right to suspend or remove students who violate conduct standards.
7. Safety & Learning Environment
7.1 LAM provides a safe and inclusive learning environment.
7.2 Students must follow safety instructions during practical sessions.
7.3 Parents/guardians are responsible for informing LAM of any medical or special needs.
8. Teachers, Mentors & Platform Sellers
8.1 Teachers and sellers may offer courses or products on the LAM platform at no registration cost.
8.2 Revenue sharing:
Affiliate sales: LAM retains 10%
LAM direct sales:
50% on courses
20% on products
8.3 All teachers and sellers must comply with LAM policies, quality standards, and ethical guidelines.
8.4 LAM reserves the right to remove any course, product, or seller that fails to meet standards.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All LAM materials, branding, curriculum, and content remain the intellectual property of LAM.
9.2 Students and teachers may not reproduce, resell, or distribute content without permission.
10. Merchandise & Store Purchases
10.1 All merchandise sales are subject to availability.
10.2 No refunds or exchanges unless required by law.
11. Performances & Media Use
11.1 LAM may photograph or record classes, events, and performances for promotional purposes.
11.2 By enrolling, students and guardians grant consent for the use of images and videos unless written objection is submitted.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 LAM is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage outside of gross negligence.
12.2 Participation in physical activities is at the student’s own risk.
13. Changes to Terms
13.1 LAM reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
13.2 Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
14. Governing Law
14.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
